Washington coach Chris Petersen will step down after the Huskies’ bowl game and be replaced by defensive coordinator Jimmy Lake, the school announced Monday. Petersen, 55, will transition into a “leadership advisory role” within the athletic department. In a statement, Petersen thanked the University for allowing him to fulfill a lifelong dream to coach the Huskies. We at The Fan Yakima thank him for his great coaching and wish him the best going forward!
